My son, the celebrity

We got a nice surprise today: Jonathan's picture appeared on the front page (above the fold!) of our town's newspaper, the Irondequoit Post. I took both boys to the district bus parade and orientation last week, and we knew his picture would probably end up in the paper because I saw a reporter from the Post taking pictures, and she came up and asked Jon his name, age, and where he went to school. But I figured it would be part of a collage of pictures from the event, buried somewhere inside the paper. Who knew he'd be front-page news?? He was one thrilled little (big) boy.
